So
for Ally's eigth birthday, I let her have a late night. Unfortunately, Jeremy had
to work. (He considered it fortunate) So I enlisted my youngest sister McKenzie
to help out! Thank you so much Kenzie!!!
The
girls were so excited they sat by the window for over an hour. Kenzie is trying
to distract them from. We feared they would tear the curtains off. But the
friends started showing up and the curtains were still hanging in one piece.
We started with some pizza! I got two pepperoni pizzas but some girls just wanted cheese, so I just picked off all
the pepperonis and put them on quesadillas later. Win Win!!
Then we opened presents. She was so excited
about every present and gave everyone a hug.
Cupcake time was after that. I know, I'm not
very good at decorating. The girls helped some, but it was mostly me. At least
they tasted good so that counts for something, right?
Then
for an early b'day present her dad got her Kids Dance. They played it and had
so much fun.
Then it was movie time. Ally chose Judy Moody
and the Not Bummer Summer. It was a pretty cute movie. But the whole time I
desperately wanted to grab the main actress girl and brush her hair. It was a
big mess the entire movie.
And
then it was time to go. Ally gave them all goody bags, hugged, and thanked each
of them for coming. I love my Ally!
