AYSOccer

So it's been a few games and I'm a little behind, but we signed Ally up for AYSO soccer. She likes it a lot but isn't the most aggressive and I'm not sure that she gets it all but 90% of the time she has fun. That's all that counts for me. Although I do get a little loud, (if that's possible, just ask Jeremy, he laughs when I try to "yell"). I just want her to take full advantage of this opportunity. There are 4 girls on her team. Her cousin, Larisa, her neighbor, Alona, and another little girl named Madi. She loves being part of something that is important and special to her.

This was the very first game. She was a little nervous. I'd practiced with her a few times but I learned that I'm not as intimidating as her peers are. I guess being 8 months pregnant and not being able to run as freely didn't help in my intimidating skills.

This is at her second game. She got to throw the ball in.

This was yesterday. There were hardly any soccer games that day. We ended up playing 2 on 2 which gave each girl a better chance to get the ball. Although this was the game she got elbowed out of another girls way and ended up on her behind. She cried and didn't want to go back in. Luckily there was only about 4 minutes of the game left. She quickly cheered up when she saw the fruit snacks though.

you can always do what Kenzie used to say..."get up and elbow them back"

I can't believe she is old enough to be in soccer. It has been so fun to watch the girls growing up and becoming such beautiful daughters of God.
Gama told me yesterday that she went to the game and Ally wasn't too competitive and she got knocked on her bum.
I am glad that the fruit snacks cheered her up-which means it wasn't too serious.
I will have to try and make it to a game one of these Saturdays.

I wish I could be there to see her! I vaguely remember a soccer game when I was five-I think I spent the majority of the game picking flowers and doing cartwheels, but I had fun and you've already figured out that that's the important thing.
