This time it was for my side! It was only half an hour away and only a few hours long but it was fun!
The had a couple of bouncy houses and a volleyball net. They had posters of all my great-grandparents children to look at. We had a potluck lunch and then they had a program. Those who remembered my great-grandparents told stories about them and about life growing up.
Ally can't decide whether to eat cotton candy or her snow cone!
Those in charge this year made a beautiful quilt they raffled off. It was a family tree showing all the descendants of G.L. and Anna Bowen.
Our names were at the very top near the center!
